Kent Genealogy

Bob came across a great website which lists literally thousands of monumental inscriptions. Some of the transcriptions were done as early as the late 1700's, and involve stones which have long ceased to exist. If you have ancestors in Kent, this site is well worth visiting. Bob was able to find an 1840's Coast family gravestone, which no longer exists; it gave him lots of names and dates for the elder brother (and his wife and children) of his four times great grandfather. Anyways, the website is as follows: http://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/

Mentor Project
The Mentor project is currently on hold until I get my computer back (possibly tomorrow). Thank you to those who have responded. Hopefully, I will have something ready for the Monday night meeting and send it out to everyone next week.

Have a great day. Marlene
