The KDGS sponsors Special Interest Groups for it`s members.  SIGs provide a time and place to discuss items of interest dealing with a place or subject.  Any member can start a group or join an existing group.  For more information  send an Email to the Group contact.  Following is a list of current groups and contact email addresses.  To add your group to the list send an Email to the webmaster.

DNA SIGLocation: We will be meeting upstairs at the Wedgewood at 1045 Sutherland (Corner of Gordon and Sutherland) Ave. on Monday, January 29, 10-12:00.

England SIG – Here are the meeting dates for the England SIG, for 2018. We always meet on a Monday, usually the second Monday of the month, unless it clashes with a holiday. Note: when we meet in the Community Room at Interior Savings, we can use my laptop and we have the screen. If you have any documents or pictures which you can put on a memory stick, and want to share at the meeting, then let me know.
No meeting in January
 19 Feb. 1 - 3 p.m. Library on Ellis Street.
We will meet in the downstairs meeting room which is just behind the stairwell.
12 March, 1 - 4 p.m. The Community Room, Interior Savings on the corner of Kane and Valley Roads in Glenmore. During the March meeting we will talk about The Royal Navy, Merchant Seamen, Watermen, bargemen and passenger lists
9 April, 1 – 4 in the Community Room.
14 May, 1 - 3 p.m. in the Library. To be confirmed.
11 June, 1 - 4 p.m. The Community Room.
10 Sept. 1 – 4 p.m. The Community Room.
15 Oct. 1 – 4 p.m. The Community Room. This is the third Monday of the month because Thanksgiving is on the second Monday.
12 Nov. 1 – 4 p.m. The Community Room.
